Inspired by the iconic scene from the original Ghostbusters, this kit has greyscale tones reminiscent of the Full Torso Apparition, with a contrast of Slimer green. Kit consists of 4 skeins of Elemental yarn.
Chance of Snow: Snow coats the earth and reflects the pale sunlight back up into a clouded sky – not heavy with storms, but gentle despite the chill in the air. This is the peace of midwinter – this is the color of Chance of Snow. A pale silver-grey, Chance of Snow is a cool-toned neutral perfect for either grey-scale work or setting off a more intense hue of blue or purple.
Don’t Blink: If you see a stone angel in these shades of charcoal and grey covering its face, back away slowly and be sure not to blink.
Event Horizon: Try imagining the color at the ends of the universe. This deep charcoal-to-black semisolid may get close.
Geiger Counter: It may look radioactive, but there’s no need for a full-body kit to handle this yarn!
Elemental Yarn Base: Socks are only the beginning with this fantastic 100% Superwash Merino yarn. 2-ply with a firm twist, this yarn will give wonderful stitch definition to all of your fingering-weight projects. 400 yards per 100 gram skein.
This is small-batch, hand dyed yarn. Skeins of one dye lot were dyed together, but will have natural variations. I recommend alternating skeins if you are making a project that takes more than one skein of yarn. Colors on your monitor may or may not accurately portray the yarn color, since individual monitors may display color differently from Real Life. Up to 4 skeins in any one dye lot.
I highly recommend hand washing your finished project in cool water and then laying flat to dry. As thorough as I am with rinsing, some color can escape for the first wash or two. Wash alone, or at least with like colors.
This yarn is from a smoke-free home, but I do have pets. A random cat or dog hair may accompany your yarn, although I try to prevent it.
